“Playing the Long Game is a great resource for parents of serious athletes. It offers guidance to parents in navigating the challenging issues that arise as their children participate in college athletics. The book provides strategies for empowering children—helping to support them as they solve their own problems. I would encourage every parent and every high school and college coach to study Maureen Breeze and Dr. Sue Schimmel’s approach.”

- Wendy Brandes, Lawyer, Adjunct Professor, and parent of two college athletes

“The webinar made me realize that I should take a step back and allow my son to deal with any issues and challenges that he may face and that I need to assure him that I am there for him if he needs me”

- Parent of a College Athlete & Webinar Participant

“I found having the parents and players really think about tough situations that they would NEVER bring up with their parents or coaches most helpful.”
